One Door Mental Health – Carer Services

Through One Door Carer Services you can access support, information, education and advocacy. One Door Carer Services runs the Family and Carer Mental Health Program in partnership with South Western Sydney Local Health District. This program is fully funded (FREE) and gives carers, family and friends of people living with mental illness access to Carer Advocates who provide:

Information on mental illness, services available and other information that helps them best care for their loved one
Education on caring skills and understanding how to manage mental illness
Where appropriate, advocacy to ensure carers get the information and services they require
Emotional support both by phone and in person
