NSW Mental Health Access Line
The Mental Health Line is staffed by mental health professionals. This state-wide helpline provides 24 hour telephone triage assessment and referral services and gives people access to expert mental health advice and support for people dealing with a mental health problem. Where appropriate they can put you in contact with the local mental health crisis or acute care team. The Mental Health Line also provides advice about clinical symptoms and local treatment options for health and care service providers, such as general practitioners, police and ambulance officers.
