Father Chris Riley’s Youth Off the Streets – Koch Centre for Youth and Learning
The Koch Centre for Youth and Learning has been working with young people in Macquarie Fields since January 2011. It’s a safe place for young people to re-engage with the community, education and employment.
We provide:
- Access to youth workers
- Support, information and referrals
- Service Learning projects
- Support for transition to further education, training or employment
- Health and well-being programs
- Cultural and community programs
- Recreation facilities and activities
- Trainee youth worker programs
Our programs are designed for young people aged between 12 and 24 but we do work with other members of the community when the need arises.
The Koch Centre is also home to EDEN College, our accredited independent school for students in Year 9 and Year 10. The Centre was named to recognize the commitment of Libby and David Koch, whose support for Youth Off The Streets has helped disadvantaged young people turn their lives around.
